Serve your community by being the umbrella of love, education, safety, and support and providing behavioral health and mental health services during a time when our community needs them the most.

 

We need people with a passion to help others... just like you. We need your skills, talents, and dreams to continue to serve our community.

Become a volunteer today and be one of the many who help with:

 

  • Our 24/7 Phone Support Helpline

  • Administration, including Clerical, Graphic Design, and Social Media, Public Relations 

  • Specialized Roles, including CPA, Non-Profit Contracts / Grant Writer, Paralegal, Social Worker, and Ministry

  • Teaching Painting, Crafts, Yoga/Meditation, Zumba classes

  • Teach a webinar on Substance Abuse, Trauma, PTSD, Grief, and much more

  • ​Adopt a Grandparent: Be a loving emotional support! Send cards, goodie bags, call them, and show them a little love. In time, once COVID lifts, we will also visit them, read to them, walk with them.

 

As a volunteer, you may choose from several roles and responsibilities that best suit your skillset. However, If you're not quite sure what your niche is, that's fine! What better way to stretch your muscles than volunteering with us and learning new talents you never knew you had?

WHO CAN VOLUNTEER:

  • No prior experience is required

  • A student (High school/College/University) Volunteer credits available

  • A Retiree

  • A Professional (i.e. IT, Law, Counselors, Phycologists, Social Workers, Coaches, Ministers, Pastors, Teachers, CPA, Administrators, Legal "LDA, Paralegal, Attorney")

We welcome families of all ages! Our precious children need exposure, and with all the staff that we have participating, it makes it a safe space for everyone.

I would like to Volunteer

Becoming a  volunteer with Central Point Behavioral Health Center takes a special individual willing to give their time to serve others. We require our volunteers to commit to "one year" of  3-days a month. Some shifts might be only a few hours, and others might require more if your on the helplines. Most training to become a volunteer that provides one-on-one services to our community requires 40/hr training, a livescan, and mandatory 3/hr meetings once a month.   

We are looking for people just like you with a compassionate heart . We are looking forward to meeting you soon.

Central Point Behavioral Health Center helps thier community by providing food (whether hot or in the form of a grocery or fast-food gift card), a safe place to sleep (hotel vouchers and shelters for homeless, domestic violence victims, and teen runaways), transportation costs (gas card, Uber, taxi), assistance with medical expenses, final expenses (funeral, burial, cremation), and recover and rebuild after a disaster.
