Anger Management: 10 tips to help tame your temper

We all struggle with the mismanagement of Anger from time to time. Mostly when we least expect it.

It creeps up on us and shocks us after we explode, and sadly once it has reached this point the damage has been done and you can't undue the damage.

So what steps can we put in place to help control the management of our anger.

One thing that's important to remember is that it's okay to be upset, and even angry at times. However, if the anger is consistent or in a form of an explosion then you need to find your safe people in your life to obtain help.

So here are some steps to help tame your anger:

1. Think before you speak 2. Once you're calm, express your anger 3. Get some exercise 4. Take a timeout 5. Identify possible solutions 6. Stick with 'I' statements 7. Don't hold a grudge 8. Use humor to release tension 9. Practice relaxation skills 10. Know when to seek help

Colossians 3:8 8 But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.
