Disasters happen to all of us. They can happen without warning, and they happen every day.
You may know Central Point Behavioral Health Center for offering training, services and assistance to the community. Did you know that we also keep our eyes peeled for ways to help our friends and neighbors in crisis?
The CPBHC 2021 Relief Assistance Fund is currently looking forward to its first milestone amount of $5,000!
While the standard items (food, clothes, toiletries, and blankets) are available on a regular basis, special circumstances (with verified proof of disaster/need) may call for special assistance and a little creativity.
We may aid victims of disaster with food (whether hot or in the form of a grocery or fast-food gift card), a safe place to sleep (hotel vouchers and shelters for homeless, domestic violence victims, and teen runaways), transportation costs (gas card, Uber, taxi), assistance with medical expenses, final expenses (funeral, burial, cremation), and whatever other opportunities we find to help people in our community to recover and rebuild after a disaster.
Our administrative costs are 0% - that’s right, $0! That means every single nickel of your contribution goes toward aiding your neighbors in crisis!
Contribute today! Any amount accepted! They can also be a one-time donation or recurring.
