Anger Management

Date: Every Wednesday

Time: 9AM - 10AM

Location: Lake Elsinore, CA

Fee: $10 per class (discounts available if you qualify)

Our course is designed by Paul Fugelsang (MA, LPC), Rebecca Gangl (MA, LPC), and Dr. Karen Rippy (PhD, LMFT), based on our collective decades of experience working with and treating anger. Our program stresses personal responsibility and accountability — each student is asked to find the motivation within themselves to complete each hour of coursework. Students control the pacing of the course and the depth to which they process the material.

The classes are modular so that each hour represents a new topic. Each class consists of readings, exercises, and a quiz. Readings begin by exploring the basics of anger and progress toward an in depth analysis that examines a student’s learned behaviors and childhood.

Each reading is accompanied by exercises for the students to complete, including meditation, breathing exercises, and extensive journaling about current and past conflicts. Scientifically validated, interactive quizzes consist of a combination of multiple choice and true or false questions. A score of 80% is required to progress to the next session.

Our Anger Management Course gives our students the material they need to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of their experience of anger. It improves the relationships our students have with loved ones, workmates, and perhaps most importantly, themselves. Our students regularly report decreased levels of internal/external tension and increased levels of overall functioning.
